Welcome to the official blog of haderwithad.com! OUR FANSITE: Our domains for our bill fansite have changed over the(almost) last 2 years. Weve been through a couple of domains, haderwithad.com is our third. We used to be billhader.org until we almost came across a trademark/domain issue with using bill's name only in the domain. So we changed it to the only server we could afford which we already owned which was twisted-laughter.com (originally intended for a different usage). Once kelly worked her ass off at her job we were finally able to afford a card and brand new server/domain for our fansite. We also really feel that haderwithad.com is more appropriate for defining bill hader and his popularity that arose since the release and success of superbad and his current projects and status on snl. Our statistics and tagline read "Since: March 2006" because we feel that we've done so much hard work and gained so many great visitors that we just cant let the past go and we want to remind everyone how long our success and work has been around. Haderwithad.com domain was chosen based on his first snl show where he and andy samberg did an impression off on weekend update and samberg snapped the comment "Maybe your last name suits you .. Hater." and Hader corrected him by saying "Its hader with a D" and we feel that you should get it right, its hader .. with a d. Remember that name! ( view the clip) THE BLOG: This livejournal account is connected with our bill hader fansite haderwithad.com! However, this is in no way connected / affiliated with bill hader himself. He only provides us with news and stuff for our main site and has nothing to do with this blog. Our blog will feature weekly entries from Kelly Mcaulley (the owner of haderwithad.com) as she visits saturday night live and will bring you a review of her weekend with pictures, news and show reviews. Entries will be posted typically sunday night or monday morning, depending on scheduling and how busy i am at the time. Im usually able to post them before monday night turns into tuesday. The blog is a public journal. However if you wish to add us to your friends list so you can easily see our entries with your other friends' entries, please feel free to go ahead. No, you dont need permission to do so. So go right ahead. Feel free to leave comments, we really suggest that you leave your name in the subject line when making an anonymus comment. ** All entries are found under this post. This post is a topped sticky and will remain at the top of the page for new viewers to read before reading all recent posts. Enjoy! Kelly @ Haderwithad.com

So i have decided to continue the blog updates. Eff it. Though going to SNL may slow down for me now, i have realized i have been to so many great shows but I really wanted to see Jonah Hill for a variety of reasons, here's 2 - • Reason 01 ... Jonah Hill is badass. Enough said. If anyone saw him on Conan O'brien on Tuesday he dropped "Fuck" on the program, but i dont know what he was freaking out about and conan's vacant stare, they tape at 5:30 so either way it will be bleeped out come 12:30. Regardless it was hilarious - his expression after the curse was priceless. • Reason 02 ... Since the writers strike ended and SNL came back, it has been raining every friday night here in new york for every show. I checked out my work schedule and i have to work on the next two shows, so i was like "If it rains - so be it - I will risk it to see Jonah host this show and be up in the studio again. I really need to. So i met up with my friend Amanda around 11:30, and the line was pretty short. It was pretty warm out, the rain had held off a while, and it only drizzled around 2 and 3AM and then it down-poured by 5:30AM. So if it had to rain im glad it waited. I just hope i dont wake up Monday morning and find myself with pneumonia - i seriously just brought the following items with me to standby - $40, my ipod, cell phone, and myself. No blanket, no sleeping bag, no umbrella. But luckily Amanda had an extra blanket - god bless her, it got soaked but we had a blast and it kept me dry all night. The things i do for this show .... seriously. I got number 6 for dress rehearsal, and since i stayed up all night, i crashed for ... 2 hours. ( SATURDAY NIGHT ... (sketches, cut skits, and more) )I totally met Rainn Wilson after the show, and I nearly died by the way. I couldnt believe it, i had just been talking about earlier in the day how different he is from Dwight Shrute earlier in the day and how he is in person, how he'd be if i ever had gotten the change to meet him - and later on that night little did i know .... so weird. So next is Christopher Walken and Panic At The Disco. Im not going to any April shows, so this blog might be empty. I wish John Krasinski was hosting the show, it makes sense for him to be the host April 5th since Leatherheads (his new movie) is being released April 4th. And he is always a frequent visitor at SNL and friends with Amy Poehler and her husband Will Arnett.

I'm not really sure how to make this update. I sort of feel weird writing blogs now through the website, because i have a feeling that I could be pissing people off - I dont know. But i guess for right now ill do a bulleted list of highlights from the weekend ...
• I didnt do standby, again, thanks to the weather .. again. Instead i sat at home, watched Jason Sudeikis on Conan, and had a humorous argument with my brother during dinner about a possible cavity i might have and how precautionary i was being about it with everything i ate, and doing research online. Oh .. i also dyed my hair black. I love the things i do on the weekends. • Before i headed over to do the barracade scene of NBC, my boyfriend Zach and I met up together and saw Semi-Pro. Im not a big fan of Will Ferrell, i feel like a lot of his movies since after Elf have been all the same, but this one was really good. It had a great amount of diverse characters rather than everyone being loud and obnoxious and stuff - but i was really happy with this movie of his.
• One of my favorite stores in midtown manhattan is Virgin Megastore .. we stopped there.
• John Lutz came out of the building and the security guard told him to get behind the barracade, i found it funny. Im suprised John didn't tell him he worked on SNL and is a cast member on 30 Rock .. he just walked and got to the edge
• I was taking some videos of some cast members signing for fans, im working on a new video project - a more professional one that what i have on my YouTube account, but it might take a couple of shows to gather them together. Ill let you know when its finished and what im working on it for. Im really excited about the project. Im upset though, Andy and Bill were talking to each other next to me about this guy who said he looked like Seth Rogen so Andy and Bill were discussing if the dude really looked like Seth Rogen. but ... my camera didnt record it...
• Bill told me to be careful outside because I need a jacket -- which i dont wear but i wear 2 hoodies, but i guess its still not enough - especially when Jason Sudeikis, Kay Cannon and now Bill demand me that i need a coat lol. Ill get one eventually .. like .. july.
• John Krasinski was there, he greeted a couple fans on the other side. I love seeing John there, i just love him being in my presence ... ok, i forgot where i was going with this .. sorry [shrug/deep breath/awkward silence]
• Went home, watched the episode. It was weird not seeing Bill in the entire show until the last 10 minutes. But regardless, the Captain Hook was really well done, in a Bill Hader esque, way. I love Ellen Page, i saw Juno like 3 times, and I love her in The Tracey Fragments - its a screening movie, so its not in theatres or on dvd, but you can watch clips on Ellen-Page.net and its amazing. Her Miley Cyrus made me a little uncomfortable though, there was no Southern accent which Miley heavily has, and she isnt that hyperactive - she laughs a bit loud but i felt like the miley impression was a bit made into a punk-rocker chick than a southern pop star. The digital short had me wondering ... in Ellen's interview with Barbara Walters pre-oscars, she said "I hallucinate and sleep walk in my sleep" and this Digital Short made me wonder if it was inspired by that moment in the interview. Andy had me laughing hysterical and Kristen's line at the end "(gasp) I forgot to get my mother a birthday gift .."
Ummmm thats about it ... But taking a moment from this post, like i said up top in one of the bullets, im starting up a brand new project that i am more than excited about. Right now its still progressing and it wont be until end of March or early April that I release it - but I hope you all come to appreciate it and like it.
2 YEARS ON THE NET ... Coming this Friday, March 7th, is our 2nd anniversary of being online and promoting Bill Hader through billhader.org and haderwithad.com -
I cannot believe its been 2 years already. 24 Months. I always say that if you say "A Year Ago" it sounds longer compared to saying "12 months ago". But when you say 2 years vs. 24 months - either one sounds like forever, a long time ago. And that makes me feel shocked right now. Back in Feb. 2006 I'd come home from school and fall asleep, and my mom would say "What are you doing?" and id respond "Trying to make time go faster" i wanted standby and SNL to come quicker, now i wish time would slow down. The whole site has come a long way since that date of March 7th, 2006. And even though we had to switch it from billhader.org, I really appreciate all the fans being supporive and patient through our changes. Its something that was hard for me to do because of all the changes and promotions i had to do for the domain changes, but the content and the subject stayed the same regardless.
With this website, I have gained so much more than i could ever ask for or even dream about. I dont care what kind of hits I get, who comes to the site, or how big or small it becomes, I absolutely love when I get an email from a fan telling me the site is very useful. Thats my biggest goal. You can agree or disagree, but I love what i am doing here for Bill, the fans, and myself. Its given me the chance to explore the film and TV world, and when Bill walks out of the building and greets me with my name in the sentence I know that ive accomplished something - its small to him, but its huge for me. I've been going to SNL since I was 13 years old, now ill be 19, which is weird, and now since then Ive become friendly and/or familiar with some cast members and I dont think any feeling can be compared to feeling so alive when I realize what I have here in my life and where I have gotten this far. I dont think of myself anymore than just a fan, and i love what im doing for the other fans. When i started the bill chat with Bill, it was completely for the fans and not for anything more like hits or anything. I am more than lucky to know Bill in person, and i want to give something to those who cant experience what i can.
... And I love you guys and thank you guys for finding the site useful and being so supportive.
... And thank you so much Bill for being supportive and putting up with me all this time - (ha) - I really love what you do and you are a big inspiration towards the career im aiming for, and no joke so is Maggie. I thank you both in fact!
Here's to hoping for a greater future for haderwithad.com (formerly billhader.org)

Hello, anyone who visits this .....
Well i guess i should just let everyone know that this update will be somewhat short. I didn't do standby, I didn't go to dress or live. All week i've felt very sick. I don't think i've felt this way since I was 15, maybe 16 as well. That nervous nausea feeling when something big is about to happen but you're not sure if it will be good or bad. You know something is going to happen, but the turn outs are unpredictable.
And I woke up Friday morning, looked at my arm, and my forearm and wrist developed a rash and broke out in hives. And i still felt sick to my stomach thinking about the weekend. Oh -- we also had this giant snowstorm Thursday into Friday that trapped me in my house, and I paced around the house around 6pm deciding whether to go or not so i stepped outside, walked up the block, kept slipping and sliding and thought "No thanks". I've been to so many great shows anyway. Its someone else's turn. I just love how SNL is part of the strike all winter, barely any snow at all mind you, and the show comes back and the snow comes the night of standby. Isn't life great. I spoke to Jason and his wife Kay at UCB about a month ago and I quote -
Me: "I hear a lot of the strikers on the news stating 'we just want to get back to work' and i go 'I just want to sleep on the street!'
It made Jason literally LOL which felt great, and i meant every word and the strike is over and the snow falls hard.
Saturday Night, i hopped on a train, and went for a walk around midtown to shake off my nerves. It got so bad i ended up having to rest my head on the damn gate when i got to waiting with my friends who i haven't seen in forever since the writers strike began.
I got to see Bill briefly, we greeted from a slight distance, I was expecting SO many people to flood the NBC area for the cast but hardly anyone showed up. It was just the standby groupies, and a couple others. The cast came one by one, and i didn't see Casey Wilson and Kristen or Kenan, and I was expecting Tina and her 30 Rock posse to exit with Will Arnett and Amy but those two came out together and no one from 30 Rock (show) came out but they did when Alec hosted. When alec hosted that was the most flooded 49th street ive ever seen after SNL but it was so quiet last night.
Akiva and Andy are just so hilarious when greeting fans. The most awkward thing about last night was that i found nothing to say, due to the writers strike being held, to anyone except Jason Sudeikis because he is lined up to do a show this week i saw a month ago and i wanted to know if he was still doing it since SNL was back and its during show rehearsals. When i went to Jason's show we spoke outside and Kay (his wife) was with him and she was like "YOU NEED A COAT" and last night she said it again. I doubt ill ever get one, i just wear 3 long sleeves and a hoodie. But she is so sweet and so hilarious.
We left then, went back home and I watched the show. Steve Martin was a surprise, Tina's monologue was pretty funny when she went on with that long without-a-breath explanation about the negotiation they reached which i myself never understood anything the WGA posted about when concerning negotiations. Im super glad that Bill was in a bunch of stuff, but you know I would really love to see a Vincent Price comeback because the last one they did was back in 2006 which got cut. But regardless, I loved the milkshake sketch, and its probably cliche' by now but I loved his screaming 'I lost my boy, i abandoned my child!' which i just saw the scene from There Will Be Blood which thats where its from, for the first time here on the Oscars which im being forced to watch by the people in this house, by the way. I just screamed out 'THATS WHAT BILL DID LAST NIGHT!' -- sorry, i never saw the actual movie.
Exiting here, i can't wait for Ellen Page next week!

Ive been sitting around wanting to write on this thing, and i wish i could tell you all my amazing experiences ive had over the last few years at snl. But it would take much detail, much hours on such short time. But here is a recap of some amazing nights of 2006-2007 season. The new season is coming up soon and its very weird to think about. Its absolutley mind blowing that its already september and that snl is back already. And thats its been a whole entire year since the last premiere. I remember it perfectly, ( Dane Cook / The Killers )After the show, bill couldnt find his car or something and was on the phone with someone and went across the street. I was a tad upset, but it got really crowded and The Killers came out and me and my friends got lost and my boyfriend zach called me up and he is talking really loud about something but cutting in and out (can you hear me now .. good.) i found him and my friends suddenly pulled by the arms down towards the Hilton which is about two blocks from NBC and no one would tell me where i was being taken. Even though i kept screaming where we were going. ( Experiencing The After Party )That was my first memory of the season. That season was really memorable, a lot of big things happend and at the john c. reilly show i was escorted to a really nice seat which is at the top, next to the writers room, in front of the music stage and i hear my name called and down in front of my seat is mr bill hader senior and bill's sister kara... ( meeting the hader family )I think the best shows i went to last season were justin timberlake and rainn wilson. i personally hold justin timberlake as my favorite host ever for saturday night live. ( The Justin Timberlake Show )( The Awesome Arcade Fire Show! )( The Hot Rod Screening )( The Finale. )Well this is how the season ended after encountering the cast after the finale:: i walked out around 1:30AM and headed down 49th street and strolled through the plaza overlooking the after party. Simultaniously Kenan Thompson was walking across there too in shades and a letterman jacket. The usual apparel for him. I headed a couple of blocks over where my mother and i were staying near The Ed Sullivan Theatre because my mother was working at the tattoo convention at Roseland. As i approached the corner of my hotel, a parked beat up old cadilliac had its backdoor open in front of my hotel doors and a girl had her head hanging out the door ... aaaaand she and the dude on top of her were having sex. Thats how it ended. Glorious. Glamorous. Fabulous. Looking forward to the new season, Kelly Mcaulley
